Besides writing as a hobby, I had my first chance to write creatively while working in Aged Care. The residents wanted a newsletter to share their stories and stay updated on activities and happenings around the home. I took care of the design, the content and the imagery. Working in Aged Care taught me much about listening to people and how important it is to inspire action through storytelling.
